Trail & Weather Advisory

Please be advised that Roaring Fork Motor Nature trail will be closed to all public use until summer 2010.  The reopening dates to be determined.  The one way section of Cherokee Orchard Road has reopened.  You may call the numbers below or check websites below for updates.  All other Mt. LeConte access trails and trailheads should remain open during this time period unless closed due to snow and/or ice.  Please call the reservation office to check on the status of this road before beginning your hike. Also check LeConte Lodge blog by the resident manager at:  www.highonleconte.com for updates.

Please call 865-429-5704 between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, EDT, Monday through Friday, the LeConte Reservation line if you would like to check trail conditons or if you have any questions regarding your reservation.  To check on the possible closure/opening of HWY 441, Newfound Gap Road; Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail or Cherokee Orchard Road,  please call 865-436-1200.
