Reservations 2011

Leconte Lodge is closed for the winter and will reopen on March 19 for the 2012 season.  See Reservations for 2012 section for details about the 2012 booking season.  The out house is available to day hikers, but the water pump is closed for the winter. Water from the spring must be treated before use. It is located near the backcountry shelter.

Payment Policy

Payments for reservations made by mail between the 1st and the 15th of the month will be due by the 1st of the following month; made between the 16th and the end of the month will be due by the 15th of the following month.  Payments for reservations made less than 30 days before arrival date are due when the reservation is made.  Payment is accepted by check, money order or credit card. We do not accept American Express.

Late Cancellation Policy

Hosting guests on a remote mountaintop creates some unique problems of food supply and filling up unexpected vacancies. The trip to LeConte Lodge^® is one that takes much advanced preparation, both for the host and for the guest. Most of your food is sent to the lodge in the spring of the year. Requests for guest reservations are made far in advance of arrival date. It is very difficult to fill vacancies created by cancellations received less than thirty days from the date of arrival. Consequently, we cannot guarantee a refund of your payment unless you give us thirty days notice. If a cancellation is necessary with less than thirty days notice, we will attempt to rebook your space.  If we are able to fill the space we will gladly refund your payment.  If we are unable to rebook your space(s), refunds on cancellations without thirty days notice cannot be made, regardless of the circumstances.

LeConte Lodge is managed by LeConte Lodge Limited Partnership, an authorized National Park Service Concession. It is not permissible by any individual, company, church or organization to increase for profit the approved and published rates under any circumstances. Failure to comply with this notice will result in forfeiture of current reservation and future booking privileges.
